Machine Operator – Walsall

Hiring specialist machine operator, with experience, who will be in- charge of running and maintaining our fleet of vehicles (Bobcat Loader, Digger, Forklifts). The fleet will expand as our business grows and you will be expected to learn any the operations of any new vehicles quickly (training will be provided if required, for unknown machines).

You are not expected to know “everything” but, you are expected to keep an open mind and take on challenges related to the vehicles.

NOTE: Maintenance does not mean you are expected to “service” the vehicle yourself. You are only required to be competent in ensuring that the vehicle is operational on a day-to-day basis.

Person requirements:

• Experience in operating and maintaining Forklifts
• Experience in operating and maintaining Bobcat Loader or similar platform
• Experience in operating and maintaining, Digger/excavators

Roles and Responsibilities:
• Machine operation to assist with various processes.
• Machine Maintenance (oiling, greasing, booking servicing… ensuring issues are taken care of before machine breaks down)
• Machine Maintenance Logs (you must ensure that all logs, as per company policy, are maintained properly).
